Our favourite Paris 2024 Olympic Games activations  

Westfield was proud to be an Official Supporter of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We hosted the official Paris 2024 boutiques throughout the Summer and became an official (and essential) destination to celebrate the Games. Did you spot the colours of Paris 2024 in our Westfield centres in France? We've always said our spaces were the playground for brands, and the Olympic Games have given us an even more literal excuse for it!    During this time, Westfield Rise had the pleasure to work with some fantastic brands such as  for memorable media and brand experience activations. Samsung illuminates Paris : “Open always win”: Media firsts and dominations 

Samsung made its flagship Galaxy Z Flip 5 shine at Westfield Les Quatre Temps from June to September with its message "Open always wins" to celebrate the most inclusive Games in history.​  

The exceptional outdoor media domination included exterior façade of Westfield Les Quatre Temps, CNIT and for the first time ever, the branding of the Dome, a huge spheric glass roof on top of the cinema.  

  •  5200sqm of total OOH media 

  • 500 sqm of Brand Experience right in the middle of La Défense, the biggest business district in Europe.

Adidas: Discovering sports and urban culture at “GroundParis” 

From 22nd July to 8th September, Adidas chose Westfield Forum des Halles, right at the heart of Paris, to offer visitors fun activations, by creating the ultimate Adidas GroundParis playground.   Creating an extensive programme where people could try their hand at dance, cycling, skateboarding and parkour, (let’s not forget the football pitch and basketball court)  alongside sports and cultural personalities. An extra bonus in the evenings, where Adidas hosted musical gigs with surprise guests such as Tony Parker, Djibril Cissé, Ninho...  Adidas activation KPI:  

  • Views: 4.6M 

  • Visitors: 1M+ 

  • Engagement rate: 83%+

Sweden: Swedish Olympic Committee x Westfield Rise  

Closer to the athletes. Closer to the medals. Closer to Paris 2024 at Westfield Mall of Scandinavia.

Our team in Sweden partner with the Swedish Olympic Committee to bring the magic of Paris 2024 to Sweden. The multi-year partnership includes: 

  • Live broadcasting from Olympic Games from all major TV stations and newspapers in Sweden incl. SVT, TV4, SVD, Aftonbladet and Expressen. 

  • Meet and Greet with athletes and artists 

  • Space for visitors to test out different sports and rent equipment for free.  

  • Multiple activations from the IOC and SOC's partners.  

  • Official homecoming medal celebrations - Successful homecoming medal celebrations for almost all athletes, including. Mondo Duplantis, Sarah Sjöström & David Åhman & Jonatan Hellvig.

Ocean Outdoor hosts Olympic fan zones in partnership with Team GB and Team NL 

United Kingdom: Westfield Square was proud to be one of the official Team GB and then Paralympics GB Fan Zones for the Paris 2024 Games thanks to Ocean Outdoor. Visitors could bask in the sun and soak up the exhilarating atmosphere while cheering on Team GB. The excitement continued through the summer with the Paralympic Games also being showcased in HD. The Netherlands: Thanks to an extended partnership with NOC*NSF, Ocean Outdoor is also this Olympic year’s proud media partner of TeamNL. Westfield Mall of the Netherlands and Ocean Outdoor had an eye-catching 21m2 screen in the heart of the mall, complete with unique digital OOH opportunities around the screen.
